Mr Johnny Lam is the Managing Director of Tianlong Capital Management Limited, responsible for the overall management and business development of the investment banking business.

 

Mr Lam possesses more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions advisory.  Prior to Tianlong Capital, he was the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking of RHB Capital Hong Kong Limited, a subsidiary of RHB Group from Malaysia, and a Director of Investment Banking at HSBC, where he represented and advised multinational and Chinese companies on their cross-border acquisitions and equity capital transactions from IPO offerings.

 

Mr Lam was also the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Walmart China, responsible for corporate development, strategic acquisitions and business integration etc.

 

Mr Lam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Hong Kong and accredited an MBA concentrating in Finance at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is a CFA charterholder and conversant in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Mr Alex Lau has over 10 years of experience corporate finance and M&A experience in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Mr Lau has served at multiple international and regional investment banks, including China Everbright Capital, KGI Capital and RHB Capital. Mr Lau oversees all cross-border M&As and IPO projects, and has successfully listed and served various Chinese and Southeast Asia corporates to complete fund raisings in Hong Kong capital markets. In addition, Mr Lau led his team and completed cross-border transactions which amounts to multiple billion USD, ranged from banks, insurance companies, real estate developers, hospitalities and other Hong Kong listed companies.

 

Mr Lau holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He masters fluent Putonghua, English and Cantonese.
